Finance Course that Aids Forex Trade
015th November 2013. Know any significance to the date as listed here? Anyone? No one? 15th November 2013 is the date for the last GCE “O” Level paper. If you think that’s the day every secondary 4/5 looks forward to the most, think again. They have yet to go through the Joint Admission Exercise (JAE). It’s less stressful, certainly. Who knows, these groups of Singapore’s future generation all breathed a sigh of relief during their application. Hope for the best? Yes, with a capital Y. Singapore Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic have always been the top choice when it comes to choosing a course that helps with forex. Right now, we’ll be focusing on the lesser known (equally accomplished) polytechnics in Singapore.
Temasek Polytechnic- Diploma in Accounting & Finance (T02)
According to this site, there are many extremely good career opportunities for graduates. In addition to a forex trader, here is a list of job prospects.

On the face of it, that’s not all. The official site also states that graduates could be employed as officers in banks, or stock-broking firms, financial planning consultants, research assistants, assistant financial analysts, securities traders, accounts assistants, auditors in public accounting firms, compliance/internal auditors and tax officers. Glad to see that if forex trade is not your true calling, you still have something to fall back on.
GCE “O” Level graduates, here is a circumstantial information regarding the minimum entry requirements:
English Language (EL1)* Grades 1-6
Mathematics (E or A) Grades 1-6
Any three other subjects, excluding CCA Grades 1-6
To be eligible for selection, you must also have sat for at least one of the following subjects:
Art/Art & Design, Business Studies, Combined Humanities, Commerce/Commercial Studies, Economics, Geography, Higher Art, Higher Music, History, Introduction to Enterprise Development, Literature in English/Chinese/Malay/Tamil, Music, or Principles of Accounts
* Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/Unified Examination Chinese (UEC)/GCSE/IGCSE holders must have a minimum of grade 6 for the relevant English Language subject (e.g. Bahasa Inggeris).

There are no modules listed on the website. In spite of this, aspiring forex traders will know that the world class diploma course will teach you to reach for the stars and exceed your expectation. The first two years will focus on industry knowledge and skills. The final year is the real deal. Students will select four electives from a range of subjects including forex investments.
